Membership requirements and training fees

Instructors/Clubs/Organizations

  1. Requests for Magister positions will be assessed by the Sword Experience Staff. After acceptance into the program all Magister must submit online videos of their understanding of the curriculum.
  2. Instructors/Magisters will be allowed free access to the VVVI online training videos and one-on-one video consultation access to a VVVI Head Instructor/Domini for any question arising from the implementation of the VVVI platform.
  3. All schools, instructors, and organizations operating under the VVVI development program must adhere to the VVVI training and test guidelines.
  4. Organizations will supply SXP-VVVI with their prescheduled test days for the year by January 1 each year.
  5. Any specialty or advanced training will be charged at a separate fee.
  6. In person class fees for the VVVI program will be ticketed through the Sword Experience website (www.swordxp.com) Magisters will share an 80/20 split of these fees in favor of the Magister.

Magister Teaching Requirements

Magisters will be allowed to access all teaching materials to allow them advancement in the Magister rankings for. After the Initium level, Magisters are required to learn the material of all three paths to qualify for the next rank. There are no fees for Magisters moving through the teaching ranks. However, all Magisters must submit a video of the test for each rank to SXP-VVVI.

Students

Membership requirements and training fees

All students must be registered with The Sword Experience-VVVI (SXP-VVVI), the registered main organization leading the VVVI development program. A one-time registration and first annual membership fee, will be charged per student at $50. (this fee is waived for the first 10 clubs signing up for the program) An annual membership fee of $35, will be charged per annum, per member. Members will receive an online membership card, qualifying them to participate in rank testing. For printed membership cards an additional fee will apply. In person students will pay a monthly training fee to the organization of their choice. Fees will be decided by each instructor, dojo, or studio, based on regional demographics, and then relayed to the SXP for online entry onto the website. Students will have access to all on-line materials for the current grade that they have been entered for. All monthly training fees will be purchased through the SXP website.

Testing

Students whose annual membership is in good standing, and have met all training requirements, qualify to test for the next eligible rank. Students must sign up for testing through the SXP website. The fee for each test, will be charged accordingly.

Uniforms

All participants regardless of location or affiliation must wear the VVVI T shirt, loose pants combination when testing. Physical clubs, organizations and dojos will be responsible for ensuring students wear the correct uniform to train in the VVVI program. Uniforms can be purchased individually by the student or through the instructor on the SXP-VVVI website.
